                                                 Lent
Lent is the time for Easter and some people go to Catholic churches to respect the meaning of Lent and give up some luxuries.
Catholic people celebrates Lent when they do it by giving up things for 40 days and 50 days of feast.People Fast,Pray and Give.
On Ash Wednesday, the Priest put Ashes in our forehead shaped as a cross so we can
remember the things Jesus did the things for us. He does those things because he loves us so much.

Lent is before Easter because we have 40 days of fasting and 50 days of feasting. When the day of Lent comes that’s when we Pray ,Fast and feast.
Lent is very important  because it is the time to turn away  from distractions and sins and turn back to God and do good things.
