How do you prepare for Christmas?

Learning intention: We are learning to understand the season of Advent.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I explain six ways of how we can prepare for Christmas.

We are learning to understand Advent.
I know I can do this when I write 10 interesting facts about the season of Advent in my own words.

I wander how many people Paul has preached to?

Learning intention: We are learning to understand Paul's journey.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I write down all the places that Paul had travelled to spread the Good news of God.

It's a miracle!

Learning intention: We are learning to understand life in the early church. 

Success criteria: I know I can do this when I summarise the story of Jesus walking on the water.

Wow, can I walk on water as well?

 Learning intention: We are learning to develop creative thinking skills through drama.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I work collaboratively with my group to act out Matthew 14: 22-33.

I wonder what kind of difficulties they had to face in the early church community?

 
Learning intention: We are learning to understand what life was like in the early church.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I describe how the disciples dealt with their problems in the early church community.

Is it a bird? No, is it a plane? No, it's the Holy Spirit!

We are learning to write a personal prayer following the prayer structure.

I know I can do this when I use the structure of a personal prayer starting with a title for God, followed by what we are thankful for and then praying for others.
