Where do I go?

In a bright sunny day on April the 30th my friends, auntie and I went to the city because it was my friend Yssabelle’s birthday.

“Honk, Honk” I jumped in excitement because they were here. I quickly, popped my shoes on and went to the living room to kiss my brothers on the cheek as a sign of goodbye. I rushed to the door and blessed my uncle (placing the hand of a Filipino person on your forehead is a sign of respect in the Filipino custom).  Then I ran to the car and saw two of my friends at the back seats. On the way, we were talking about where we’re going to live once we pass the age 21, We planned to only live in a apartment for two years.
After  minutes of chit chatting, we finally reached our destination. We walked our way into a underground room full of arcade games. Suddenly, my eye caught the registration area. Both Yssabelle and I ran past Alessandra and my auntie. As my shoe lace wasn’t tied properly, I tripped over and luckily there was a bean bag or I would’ve  been sitting in a hospital bed sulking because there was shattered glass on the floor.
Luckily, my aunt wasn’t looking because she was glaring at the shiny jewellery invitingly  displayed in a shop’s window, if she had seen me, I would have be in great trouble.  I swiftly got up, acting as if nothing had happened. After all that chaos, my aunt paid our entrance fee leading to an adventurous place. We wore light blue gloves so that we could sense more than using our hands. As our feet were walking one bye one, our hearts were beating fast because we were really excited on what was at the other side of the door.
The first room was like a technology bridge leading to a door. However, the bridge started to shake as if I was in an earthquake. Luckily I managed to cross by using the skill of  crawling to the other side. As I got up I saw my friends struggling to get across, so I pulled down a lever so that it would stop shaking. Although, it was really hard to find the door because it was pitch black the second I pulled down the lever.
While they were trying to find an exit from the horrifying room, I was using the sense of touch so that I could find our way out. Suddenly, I my hands slipped among a wall and I fell into this hole. I looked up and saw a jungle full of trees. “Alessandra, Yssabelle!”, I yelled. Both of them ran to me and looked up. They were both scared on what was in front of them because it was pitch black. We converged together so that we would know where everyone was. .
As my hands were sensing the crooked walls I felt a long furry strip, “Ahhhhhhh”, I yelled, thinking it was spider. I ran as quick as a lightning bolt striking to the earth. Unfortunately, I lost my friends. On the tip of my throat I yelled, “Guys, where are you?” There was no response. I searched the whole jungle, but there was no sign of them. I had no choice, but to continue on in the maze.
As soon as I laid a step on the next room, my friends jumped up and scared me to death. However, the room was beautiful because it was a sparkly glass room. On the wall, there was a picture frame that had a pink painting. I removed my gloves as I was told and placed bare hands on it. “Nothing’s happe, Ow”, it shocked me. An electrical current stung me on the tips of my fingers and stung my hands like a bee sting.
I had a feeling the next room was the last room, because my friend Yssabelle said that the maze was short. Opening the door, my eyes caught the sight of weird crystal goggles. Once I popped them on, it looked like Yssabelle’s head was decapitated and the walls around us were made out of crystals. After wearing them, there were zorbing balls, which were like human sized hamster balls. However, there were people in them so we just skipped that room. My eye caught a glazing door, that had signs saying, “COME IN, THE MYSTICAL DOOR,” and so on.
Alessandra opened the door and a blower blew wind and leaves to us. It was really hard crossing it because the force from the machine pushed me forward. I finally made it to the other side, there were millions (I mean millions) of pool noodles leading to the end of the maze. I swam to the other side, imagining that it was a swimming pool. Once I got to the end, I saw my auntie waiting there saying, “Well done!” My friends and I ran to her and hugged her because we were grateful to her for paying our entrance fee.

I had real fun going to the Odyssey Sensory maze and next time I hope that there would be more doors that would lead us to mystical places or rooms that had clues. It  would have to be the best experience of my life so far. I look forward to my next maze experience.

"Ring a ring a rosy"

On the 29th of October in 1989, I was walking around a costume shop in ‘Look Sharp’ of Auckland New Zealand, looking for the best costume to wear to outshine my friends.

Reaching an interesting aisle, I suddenly stumbled across a mask that was quite menacing. I said to myself, “Tyson, you’re really going to outshine your friends”. I began my walk back to my house. Suddenly, while walking in the middle of the road, I saw an old radio that looked like it had been run over by a car. I was about to leave it there but, I remembered that my dad used to be a technician. When I picked it up, I saw a picture of a beautiful little girl and her mother looking at me, each looking terribly frightened, I also felt a vibration coming from the radio, although I didn't care.  I placed it in this plastic bag  I was carrying but that one action turned out to be  the biggest mistake I had ever done in my life.
I reached my house, went straight to my dad’s workshop. There was no sight of him, so I wrote a note saying, “Dear dad, please fix this radio, thank you. Sincerely, Tyson”. After that, I went up to my room and arranged my horrifying costume, and put it on; in preparation  for trick or treating. Three hours later, my friends arrived. We walked all the way to the richest neighbourhood in town.

Once there, my friends and I stood and gazed at the size of all the houses, that really looked like mansions.  We chose the one house that we thought was probably the richest one to begin our Trick or Treating adventure. The owners were very generous and gave me a whole pillowcase of candy (that’s why we always go to that neighbourhood)!  Almost immediately, something in my brain was activated.  The woman before me was a mirror image  of the photo that was stuck to the radio that I had found. A shiver went up my spine.
When we’d finished trick or treating, we went straight home because we were exhausted. The next morning I heard the ‘radio’ going on, I thought it was fixed. I ran downstairs and I saw my dad was on the ground and next, to him was the radio together with a note.
I picked it up and it said,” Karen’s next>”( my mum)!
I was freaking out I checked dad’s pulse and his heart beat and there was nothing! , I raced  to my sister, Liberty’s room and locked the door, thinking that this would keep us both safe.  Liberty screamed, ,”What’s happening?”
“Dad died because of this radio that  I brought home from a street” I responded,.
“That can’t be possible!” She said.
“Well it is now!” I answered.
“Wait, which street did you find it in?” Liberty asked.
“Umm, I think it was Lynn Street!”
“That’s where a small little girl was run over by a car, her spirit must have gone inside that old radio.  It’s been waiting for someone to pick it up and now it’s going to haunt us!
“So you mean that the- ...” I said
“Oh no!” Liberty shouted!.
As quickly and quietly, as we could, we jumped out of the window to escape from the radio. Our destination, our mum’s work so that we can warn her about the radio. As soon as we got there Liberty and I ran as fast as we could to the counter. We asked the receptionist if our mum was there. However, she wasn't there, we ran back to our house. Although, it was too late because she was sitting on a chair with a knife gushed towards her stomach with blood all around her knees dripping down her legs. We tried to call out for help but there was no answer, we were left all alone in the house with no one to take care of us.
We both walked to our neighbour's house heartlessly, for us it was like there was no one was there for us, the rest of our relatives are all orphans no aunties, uncles and grandparents we were all children. “Creeaak” went the door. Jake opened the door and he was surprised why I was sad because most of the time I was happy.
“Come in,” Jake said
“Thanks,” I responded holding my sister tightly around her shoulders, I knew I couldn't trust Jake because the last I asked him to look after my pet dog I lost it and we found our dog stuck in an electrical wire dead, that means I can’t leave my little sister whenever he’s going out somewhere.
Until the last strike of 9:00 pm Liberty and I went to bed for the next day. Liberty and I packed our backpacks to leave to the news station to warn people about the radio. As soon as we got to the radio station, it was too late because the news team was all lying dead on the ground with holes strike towards their hearts. There was no chance about warning people about it in just one hour. The only solution is to make a quick banner and hang it in a mall for everyone to be aware of the radio.
Later on, Liberty and I went back to Jake's house to have our lunch. However, when we entered the room we saw Jake lying dead on the floor. With a note next to him which said, “Tyson look behind you”! I looked behind myself and saw that Liberty wasn’t there. I tried to look for her. However, there was no sight of her. I was scared because I’m nothing without Liberty. Suddenly, I heard a banging noise coming from Jake’s room. I slowly went towards the room and as soon as I opened the door I saw one of Liberty’s bow and when I looked up the ceiling it was her.
Liberty had scars everywhere on her body and blood was dripping everywhere. Her hands were on the ceiling and it was like she was alive because you could see a mouth in her stomach breathing. I walked slowly outside to escape from this creature until I stepped on a hanger and it made a really loud crack noise. My heart was pounding really loud, I was in great fright because I really didn't know what to do, I just stood there with fear. Liberty twisted her neck and ignored the noise, it was quite weird because she didn't see me but I didn't care because all I wanted to do was to escape this horror house. However, as soon as I laid step on the ground Liberty heard my foot step and quickly crawled to me like the grudge. Liberty jumped towards me and screamed out my name, it was like my eardrums were going to pop, I closed my eyes tightly.
While my eyes were still shut there was silence everywhere until I opened them I was still in detention sitting on my desk writing out lines while my teacher was trying to wake me up by saying my name repeatedly. Well I'm glad the chaos is over or was it, I saw the same exact radio with the same photograph on it, on my teacher's desk and it was playing the song “ring a ring a rosy.” It’s going to start all over again!
                                The end!

You should go to Goat island!

Family, friends, uncles, aunties and I.
A trip to Goat island.
Holidays
Matamata
To explore new places in New Zealand.
By car

On a hot and sweaty Holiday, my family, friends, uncles, aunties and I went to Goat island to explore new places in New Zealand by car.

Once we got there the kids rushed to the toilet with their bags and got changed as fast as a cheetah running a kilometre. After, we ate food so that while we’re swimming in the beach we won’t go all the way where we parked and eat come back to the spot we sit on the beach. I ate beef and rice it was really yum and I was the first one to finish so I had to wait for a long time. After 20 minutes of waiting for them, all the kids raced to the island to our resting spot.

Then we raced to a rocky area to jump off and land on the water. Everyone was really scared of jumping off a big rock. They were all saying for my friend to jump off first because he was the oldest one. However, I just jumped off first so that we can get everything over with and as soon as my toes touched the water my body was freezing cold but it was okay because I got the hang of the water.

Then everyone started to jump off, we all explored the beach to see all kinds of fishes. While we were exploring the sea. I saw a crayfish one of the rare sea creatures to find in Goat island, then I yelled out, “crayfish” to my friends. However, they didn’t believe me because they said that it was a rare kind and that I could never find it (they’re just jealous)!  After that, bad news came along, it was that we had to go home. However it was okay because the next we got to go blueberry picking.

I had a lot of fun exploring new places in the North island of New Zealand and hopefully next time when I find a another crayfish I can use my gopro and take a video of it.

Please Eldrich, no more races!

We are learning to understand and use descriptive language.
I know I can do this when I use adjectives, verbs, similes and metaphors to describe the time when I played with my brother.

During the weekend, I played with my brother so that I could bond with him.

The first thing that we both did was that we went outside because the weather was just right (it was 9 in the morning). When we stepped outside, I could feel the warmness of the sun and it was really hot. The ground was hot as well, it was as if we could cook an egg on the ground! I put on my skates and my brother rode on his plastic bike.

We had a race because my brother Eldrich loves to race. Once I said, "go!" we both zoomed to the finish line and I won. However, I said to my brother that he won because otherwise he will want to race over and over again. It was okay because I would let him win (and I did). After the races, I was finally able to practise skating with my roller skates.

Suddenly my mum called us in because it was getting really hot and she prepared us cool drinks. When my brother and I finished our cool drinks, we went straight to my room because we were going to make a rice puppet. First we got the tool that we needed: an old sack, needle, rice. Then I sewed the end of the sock and filled it with rice. After that, I sewed the top of the sock together and I was done.

Soon after, Eldrich and I went back outside because we were feeling bored. This time i used my scooter and my brother sill rode on his plastic bike. However, we only stayed outside for a little bit and then we quickly went back inside because it was getting really hot.

That was fine because we got to take a cool bath in the bathtub (yes)! It was really fun in the tub because we played really fun activities like water fight with tiny water guns and playing with my brothers toy boats. Unfortunately, time flew by and soon it was time for us to rinse off because my brother had to take a nap and I had to do my homework.

I had a really fun time playing with my brother because we did a lot of amazing activities together and next time I hope we could play in the tube for a longer period of time.

Trick or treat, smell my feet, don't forget to give me something nice to eat!

During the weekends I went to my friend Jane’s house to go trick or treating with them.

When I arrived, Jane and I quickly did our secret handshake because we haven’t seen each other for a long period of time. Then we went inside to get ready to go/ trick or treat. First, we painted scary things our faces into scary things. I had painted a stretched mouth on half of my face and left the other side perfectly normal. Jane painted a dinosaur on her face ( but it kind of looked like Shrek).

10 minutes later, Jane's friend Paige came to Jane’s house to join us for trick or treat. She was dressed up as a fluffy unicorn who was craving to eat candy. We also drew on our arms with the face crayons.

Finally it was time to go trick or treat. We ran outside the door and zoomed to the first house that had a purple ribbon on a mailbox. The first house was really cool because it had a skeleton hanging from a tree and pumpkins on the floor.

After 10 houses, we came upon a very attractive house that had a ghost floating with sound effects. Also a lady sprayed water at us but that was okay, because we got a lot of candy from that house. The house after that was really extraordinary because when we got to the door, we could hear a white lady screaming while walking down the stairs. She had blood everywhere on her face and again we were given a heap of candies! After that, we had to go back to Jane’s house because it was getting pretty dark.

When we arrived back at Jane's house Paige, Jane and I ate dinner because we were really starving from visiting exciting houses, some trick or treaters knocked on the door. So we ran fast to the door to give the children a handful of lollies that we had prepared earlier. When we were finished eating, we played the game of life board game because we felt bored after the last trick or treaters had left. However, as soon as we started the game, Paige's mum picked her up because they needed to go somewhere (noooooooo) I had a sleepover at Jane's house so I didn't need to go home (phew)!

It was really fun trick or treating with Jane and Paige I hope Jane and I will be able to go trick or treat with me in my neighbourhood next Halloween.

We are learning to understand and use descriptive language in my writing.
I know I can do this when I use appropriate verbs, adverbs, adjectives and similes to describe the time when I went trick or treat.

Splish, splash, splish, splash!

On a hot sunny day, my family and I went to the pools to have some family time together.

Once we arrived there my brother and I raced to the automatic door and we were like cheetahs chasing their meal. Once my dad paid for our fee I quickly changed as quick as a click of a button and jumped into the pool.

Then all of a sudden I heard someone call out my name, I looked up and saw that it was Yssabelle, We were so surprised to see each other. However, soon they had to go because her friend was getting cold.

After that, I went back to play with my two brothers so that I won’t get bored swimming alone. When I saw my brother Ezekiel playing in the water and trying to swim with my uncle holding him, I was really surprised because it was his first time swimming. I jumped into the pool and swam really fast to my brothers.

While I was playing with my brother Eldrich. Ezekiel Splashed water on my face and it was really funny because some of the water splashed on his face as well and he made a cute smile with his eyes. After that, Eldrich suggested that we play tag so I said, “Yes!”

Once the game started, I quickly ran to the furthest corner and hid under the water from my dad and my brother. I heard footsteps coming toward me and it was my dad, he quickly tagged me. So I quickly jiggled up and got ready to tag my dad back by practising my freestyle arms. When it was time to tag them I quietly snuck up to them and tagged my dad without him noticing me. Then I went in front of him and I said, “Haha you lose. ”After that, we had to go because we had to pick my mum up from work.

I had an extraordinary time with my family because I don’t get to play with them that often Next time, I hope my mum comes and swims with us as well.

I will never regret this day!

During the holiday, my friend invited me to go rainbows end with them to have a little get together because we haven’t seen each other for a while.

Once we got there, Jane, Oshea, her friends and away ran out of the car and raced to the counter to pay our entrance fee. I was really shocked because Oshea’s dad had to pay $306 dollars (that’s a lot of money)! I said thank you to Oshea’s dad for paying our entrance fee.

As soon as we stepped inside, we all ran to the coffins. We laid down and closed our eyes (it smelt like someone farted in the coffin, ew)! Then Oshea, Jane and I ran to the Fare fall as fast as a lightning bolt striking Earth because we were so excited about trying it out.

When it was going up, I felt really scared because I haven’t tried it before. Woosh! It went down and I tried to scream but I couldn’t because it was as if my throat was closed off. Finally it was over, I kissed the ground and screamed out, “That was awesome.”

The next ride that we went on was called the Invader. It was really awesome because it spun round and round and went in loops at the same time. When we finally got off the Invader my legs felt like spaghetti. After that, we went to another ride called the Power surge, spun all of us around around wildly.

I was really scared when I hopped on the seats of the Power surge and I thought that I might vomit when I’m upside down. When it was turning us around I was screaming and crying at the same time because it was spinning so fast. Sadly Oshea’s dad called us for to head home because it was getting late.

I felt really happy because I finally got to experience the rides that haven’t been on at Rainbow’s End. Next time,I hope I won’t scream when I’m riding the Power surge.

Step away from sweets!

1. What's your topic?
Children should stop eating too much sweets.
2. Are you going to be against this idea?
Yes because sweets are bad for children.
3. Who are you aiming to persuade?
Children and parents.
4. Write a sentence to express your opinion on this topic.
Children should stop eating sweets because it will rot your teeth.

My arguments:
1. Children should stop eating sweets because it will cause diabetes.
Diabetes can cause your eyes and children's kidneys to slow down.
It can slowdown children's blood circulation.
If children eat a lot of sweets you can get fat.
Image result for candy2. Children should stop eating sweets because they will have rotten teeth.
It can cause cavities in between your teeth.
Bacteria are attracted to sugar so it will cause your teeth to rot.
Sweets can cause your teeth from falling off.
3. Sweets are bad for you because it gives children bad energy.
Children go hyper for 15 minutes and then you will have low energy again.
Children will not listen to anyone.
Children will be distracted because of sweets.

We are learning to understand and plan a persuasive piece of writing.
I know I can do this when I plan a persuasive writing about children not eating sweets.

Do you eat too many sweets?

All around the world, millions of children get diabetes from eating too many sweets.

Children should stop eating too many sweets because it will cause diabetes. Diabetes can cause your eyes and kidney to slow down. It can slow down your blood circulation. If you eat too many sweets you can become overweight.
Eating too many sweets will cause your teeth to become rotten. It can cause cavities between our teeth. Bacteria are attracted to sugar so it can cause your teeth to rot. If you eat too many candies,  your teeth might fall out.
Sweets gives children bad energy. Bad energy is energy that makes children hyper for a short period of time and then they will have low energy again. They lose their focus and become more easily distracted. However, there are natural sugar that is good for children like the sucrose from apples, bananas and other.

Eating too many sweets is bad because it may cause their teeth to rot, have diabetes or bad energy that may lead their bodies to shut down.

We are learning to use and understand the persuasive writing structure.
I know I can do this when I make a persuasive writing about why children shouldn't eat too many sweets.

Happy birthday to you!

During the weekends, Yssabelle and I went to our auntie's house because it was her birthday.

Once we arrived there, we said Happy birthday to our aunty Tina and she offered us some choconuts. After eating all the delicious choconuts, we went to the guest room and shot a video of us telling scary stories.
Image result for gift     Later on, our uncle Oliver invited us to the living room to introduce us to new people whom we haven't met before. After that, we invited them to the guest room and showed them around, we felt like we were tourist guides. Then we played Minecraft together because all of us love to play on it. We love it because you get to create stuff.
After that we played another game called Marco polo. I didn't get tagged. They told me I was a Marco polo expert and I agreed.
Next, it was time to eat and I was filled with joy because it is my favourite part of any birthday party. I ate some chicken and soup. (it was the best thing that I've ever tasted). Unfortunately after that, it was time to go home.
I had fun celebrating my auntie's birthday because I got to celebrate her birthday with her and meet new people.

Let's learn more about Jesus!

During the weekends my dad, brother and I went to Northcote to learn about God and Jesus.

Once we got there, Chaim and I raced to St. Joseph's hall as fast as motor bikes  because we thought that we were late however, we weren't because it was only 1:30 pm and our sessions start at 2:30 pm so we had one hour to spare. Finally after an hour had past, all the kids arrived so we started our sessions.

The first thing that we did was we played hangman. Father Mario had chosen a very hard three letter word. We lost because he already had drew hangman. The next activity that we did was we made the word love by cutting a paper into four parts. It was hard because we only had an A4 piece of paper.

Later on, we coloured in our word with crayons and wrote a letter to Jesus. After that, we cut a piece of paper and we folded it into a triangle pattern. When everyone was finished I opened it and I couldn't believe my eyes because it transformed into a cross.

After that, we raced to the park as fast as cheetahs racing to catch their meal. Once we got there, the K.F.L teachers (Kids For Life) brought us some fired chickens and everyone went running to the fried chicken pieces and within seconds it was all gone. My least favourite part was that Chaim, all the other children and I had to go but at least I got to learn about Jesus.

I had a ton of fun learning about Jesus because I got to write a letter to him and meet new friends.

Goldilocks has duplicated, everyone run!

Goldilocks is one the loose!
Hailie Anderson was robbed by two Goldilocks burglars. When Hailie got home, she saw that someone had slept in her bed, her dishes were dirty and her bathroom window was forced open. The burglars left two cups and two plates. The police think that there were two goldilocks burglars. Hailie wanted to move out two years ago and now she is more eager to move out of her house with her children.

Oh man, we didn't finish our movie!

During the weekend I went to my friend Jane's house because we haven't seen each other for a long time.
Once I got there my dad and I did our secret handshake and I gave him a big kiss on his cheek, "mwah!" The first thing we did was we ate dinner (of course). I had soup and chicken with green nutritious veggies.
After that we watched a movie called Minions. It was about how Gru became the Minions leader. When the movie was over we ran back to Jane's room as fast as Bolt because it was so cold in the living room and we had to go to bed now. While we were in bed we watched episodes called Element animations and it was one series about an egg's guide to minecraft and it was really funny because the egg kept on dying because of the monsters.
Eventually we fell asleep."Shggggggggggggggggggggggggg!" goes the dehumidifier waking me up early in the morning. Then I woke Jane up by shaking her as if she was in a washing machine. Next we watched another movie called Aquamarine. It was a mermaid trying to swim away from her father because he is so mean to her.
Next we ate some cookie toasted bread with some fresh water. When we were done we quickly went to my ipad and made our own mini movie about two worst enemies, a poor girl and a rich girl swapping bodies and they worked together to get back to the reality world. Sadly we didn't finish the movie because I had to go home. However, we did have fun making the movie because we used a green screen just like in the actual movie theatre.

I had an extraordinary time having a sleepover at Jane's house and next time I hope that we will get to finish our mini movie.

We are learning to use descriptive language in our recount.

Reminder: Do not fart underwater (it's be embarrassing)!

During the holidays my whole family, aunts, uncles, friends and I went to the Polynesian spa in Rotorua because we were so cold from going to the snow mountain that we wanted to be nice and warm in a spa.
As soon as we got there, I quickly changed into my togs as fast as the fastest rapper in the world. When I was done, I quickly hopped in the kiddy spa pool, I felt like I was in Antarctica before I went into the swimming pool. My dad and my brother watched me go down the slippery slide.
Later on, my friend Pia finally came after she had finished changing into her togs. She quickly ran into the pool feeling the same as I did. We played a game of volleyball and it was funny because I dived into the pool to retrieve the ball and when I was underwater I farted and air bubbles came plopping out. Pia won because she has had more experience playing volleyball than me.
Next we went to the spa where all the adults were and we felt like we were in a volcano because the spa was 47 degrees. So I quickly jumped out of the spa and I was like and eagle flying in the air. Then Pia and I went back to the kiddy pool and played holding our breathe underwater competition. It was pretty easy for me because I have been learning how to swim for two years and they have already taught us how to breathe underwater. You just need to take little breaths. I won the challenge and it was fair because she won the previous game.
Lastly, Pia and I went to the 36 degrees spa. It was nice for us because there were two of us in the spa. We were so lucky because the moon was shinning bright upon us as if I was made if glitter. The final thing that we did was we all took a group photo so that we could remember this day.
It was very relaxing going to the Polynesian spa and next time I hope I can win the volleyball game against Pia.

Mr. Fox, please don't eat me!

On Saturday the 27th of June 2015, Philomena, her mum and I went to the swimming pool because it was a really hot day in winter.

Before long, we made it to the pools and raced to get there as fast as if we were having an Athletics day! It was very surprising when we got there because the entrance fee was free! So Philomena and I went to the girl's changing room and changed within a second.

As soon as we entered the automatic door the inside was packed with people ( that's why it felt even hotter) When we stepped inside the pool it was like we were in a cooking stove that was 250 degrees Celsius. Firstly we pretended to be like mermaids and made pretend evil potions to poison the humans inside the pool so that we could be alone.

Next we played pass the ball it was really funny because we kept on asking the wrong person to move and bumping to different people. After five minutes had passed, we moved on to a new game called 'What's the time Mr. Fox?'

In this game, you ask one of the other player what the time is and if they say 5 o'clock, you have to take five steps towards them. Once someone is close to the wolf, the wolf says "Dinner time!" and try to tag them. Philomena is good at playing the role of the wolf because she is a fast tagger.

Last but not least, we played 'Don't touch the hot boiling ground'. It was easy as learning your abc's for me because I am short so it was hard for Philomeana because she is tall. Then depressingly we had to go because it was time to go back to her house.

It was exciting playing with Philomena in the pools because we played cool games and I hope we get to go again soon.

We are learning to understand and use descriptive language.
I know I can do this when I use adjectives, verbs and similes correctly in my writing.
